She studied art at the University of Costa Rica , 1988-1995, where she earned a bachelor's degree and the Bachelor of Fine Arts with emphasis in Painting , both passed with distinction. In October 2008 was part of the founding of the Costa Rican Association of Visual Artists ( ACAV ) , and from the beginning she was elected President , being reelected in 2010 for a further period which ended in October 2012 . In early 2013 he was named Honorary President of the ACAV.
About her art, does not cling to a single theme or style ; likes abstract art based on the geometry , given in some works focus more textile to give way to small sections of realism ; also motivate the topics of global warming, nature , peace and other issues that are attracting attention. She enjoys experimenting with various techniques such as acrylic paint, collage, watercolor, art object, textile art and specifically the monotype printmaking. Since 2000 started in the art of digital photography, which intervenes in the computer and then printed onto canvas , using collage and acrylic paint in some areas , if the work warrants.
She has also found a major internet to develop and participate in innovative and interesting art projects ally, which have generated a lot of satisfaction and incidentally have opened many doors.
She has participated in many exhibitions in paintings , printmaking, digital photography, drawing , textile art and craft object : Costa Rica , United States , Chile, Argentina , Spain , Germany , Poland, Mexico , Honduras , Italy, Turkey, China and Holland.
